Youtube's commercial ads

It's been a while since Youtube has advertising before you can watch the videos, and i asked myself; Why is that? It's simple. They need sponsors and financing partners who can pay Youtube to publish their brands, products or/and marketing commercials.
This is one of the consequences of the digital world and the web 2.0. Due to the internet and web platforms, many things like magazines, newspapers and even T.V, have had to adapt to this new way of seeing, doing and advertise things. As we know, the internet as a finance protocol based in agreements like sponsors, partners, membership, etc., of people who is interested in doing business with the web pages. Personally, i think Youtube's new commercials are annoying, because most people don't like to waste time in watching videos they didn't click on. But, on the other hand, they give you the option of waiting five seconds until you can skip it and move on to your video. I don't understand why Youtube has changed, but as far as i have studied social medias, i can say that it's because they were running out of money to maintain the web or paying people/artist for the amount of visits that they have; because if you don't know, people with over a certain amount of visits are paid by Youtube. Actually, there are people who is living because of the money that Youtube pays them. It's a reality, and probably it will increase over the years, is a new way of life and those who can't adapt to the changes will be excluded from society and new jobs.
Although it seem unuseful, this new way of doing marketing has had a positive response. Personally, even though i think they are annoying and a waste of time, i've clicked on the ads and watched the entire videos. I think this happens because of the diverse interests that people have; and marketing knows it. Maybe i don't like most of the advertisements, but there are 7 billion people who might like them, clicked them and then 'boom'; marketing has succeeded again.

Marketing in Social Networks

On Saturday I went to a party called "Life in Color". On Sunday my father asked me how did I find out about it; if it was because of the Social Networks, and i started to think that that was indeed the way i found out. Actually there wasn't any advertisement in the street walls, malls or anything. Facebook was the principal source of commercial and marketing for this party, and it had a big call on people, because there was 20.400 people confirmed in the Facebook's event and all the tickets were sold in one day. I think it's big deal because it was the only source of announcement, it became a "viral" advertising in the social networks and spread between young people across the country. I was one of them, i found out about the event on Facebook and because of that i went to this party. I feel like if i hadn't seen it on this, i would not have attended to it. Facebook, Twitter and all the social networks have an important impact on people, informations, news and decisions through the advertising and marketing.
